Swiss Institute of Management and Sciences (SIMS) has received three stars from the European Association for Higher Education Advancement (EAHEA), confirming its status as one of Switzerland's most globally connected private institutions.

This recognition reflects the dedication and hard work of our entire community, including academics, staff, researchers, and students, who are continually trying to enhance academic quality, global involvement, and institutional progress.

While this progress is heartening and worthy of all of us, we must approach it strategically and with awareness. Ratings are an external affirmation, but they should be outcomes rather than aspirations. Our true mission extends beyond the metrics: to provide transformative teaching and learning, to expand meaningful opportunities for student development and international reach, and to foster research that is impactful, relevant, and serves society," said Professor Dr Aleksandra Zajac, SIMS Chancellor.

According to Prof Christopher Goh, Head of Accounting, Finance, and Sustainability, ratings serve as a clear baseline. They have an impact on how we are seen internationally, the trust that our graduates have in us, and the collaborations that can be formed. But they are also the outcomes of something quieter: the processes we use, the connections we create, and the standards we uphold on a daily basis. What makes this progress so important is that it was achieved through a collective effort. Every faculty, every campus, and every role contributes to what SIMS is all about. Whether you work directly with students or support our activities behind the scenes, your impact matters. Our team's strength stems from the consistency of our collective effort, which is carried out with purpose, professionalism, and a thorough awareness of the challenges that learners face.

SIMS continues to extend its internationalisation efforts, but it also prioritises crucial areas like as research output, academic reputation, and graduation outcomes. By aligning its activities with the changing needs of industry and society, SIMS aims to provide an education that is global, results-driven and future-oriented.
