Understanding operational risk definitions, event categories, loss distribution modeling, and ORM frameworks.
Governance and Regulatory Alignment
Aligning ORM with Basel II/III/IV, ISO 31000, COSO ERM 2017, and the three lines of defense model.
Risk Identification, Measurement & Analysis
Conducting Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), scenario analysis, stress testing, and root cause evaluations.
Monitoring & Control Mechanisms
Developing operational KRIs, key control testing, loss event data collection, and escalation protocols.
Mitigation, Reporting & Integration
Participants design a complete Operational Risk Management framework, complete with RCSAs, operational KRIs, and incident escalation protocols for their organization.
