Call for Papers – Special Book Edition (SIMS)

In 2026, we are pleased to present a Special Book Edition published within a journal indexed in Index Copernicus. Since its establishment in 1999, Index Copernicus has contributed to the visibility and exchange of scholarly work across diverse academic fields, supporting the circulation of research within an evolving international landscape.

The articles featured in this edition are also accessible through platforms such as Google Scholar and Science Library, ensuring wider dissemination and engagement within the global academic community. The journal’s recognition by the Ministry of Higher Education in Poland further situates it within a framework of established academic practice, offering a platform that connects regional scholarship with broader European and international conversations.

Against this backdrop, the Special Book Edition aims to provide a platform for research that goes beyond narrowly defined themes. Many of today’s meaningful contributions emerge from work that crosses disciplines, engages with practical challenges, or re-examines established ideas from new perspectives.

Submissions are invited from academics, researchers, and professionals whose work reflects thoughtful inquiry—whether through empirical studies, conceptual analysis, or practice-based experience. The intention is to bring together contributions that are not only academically grounded but also relevant to real-world contexts.

Rather than focusing on a single topic, the edition takes a broad and inclusive approach. It welcomes work addressing contemporary issues in business, society, technology, and education, particularly where there is a clear connection between theory and application.

Scope

Contributions may engage with (but are not limited to) the following areas:

  • Management, leadership and organisational practice
  • Digital transformation and technological change
  • Economic development, finance, and policy
  • Education, learning systems, and innovation
  • Sustainability and social responsibility
  • Governance and public sector challenges
  • Cross-disciplinary or emerging fields

There is no strict boundary between these areas, and overlap is expected.

Types of Contributions

The edition welcomes different forms of academic and professional writing, including:

  • Research-based articles
  • Theoretical or conceptual discussions
  • Literature-based analyses
  • Case studies grounded in real contexts
  • Reflective pieces with analytical depth

Submissions should be clearly structured, demonstrate engagement with relevant work, and offer a perspective that adds value to ongoing discussions.

This edition is deliberately open. It is not limited to established lines of research or highly specialised debates. Work that connects disciplines, questions assumptions, or brings practice into conversation with theory is particularly welcome.

This Special Book Edition represents an opportunity to contribute to a growing body of international research that addresses complex global challenges. By bringing together diverse perspectives, SIMS aims to foster meaningful dialogue and advance knowledge across disciplines.
