    How it Works

    When embarking on the journey of applying to a program, it is essential to follow several steps. 

    STEP 1

    FIND YOUR PROGRAMME
    The first step to joining SIMS is to find a programme that suits you best. Search for a programme that aligns with your interests and aspirations.

    STEP 2

    CHECK YOUR ELIGIBILITY
    Check your eligibility for that particular program by researching its requirements thoroughly.

    STEP 3

    PREPARE YOUR DOCUMENTS
    Prepare all necessary documents meticulously. Download the Application Checklist to ensure that you have included all the necessary documents.

    STEP 4

    SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION
    Submit your application carefully and meet any required deadlines diligently.

    STEP 5

    INTERVIEW
    When the application file is complete, you will be contacted to set up an in-person or online interview with the Institute chancellor.

    STEP 6

    ACCEPTANCE
    Following the interview, the SIMS Admissions Panel will make a decision regarding the student. If accepted, an official Acceptance Letter will be mailed to the student.

    We at the SIMS do not believe in using special formulas to select our students. Instead, we carefully consider each applicant’s application—both academic and personal—in order to choose those we feel would be a good fit for our community.

    For prospective students, given the tremendous volume of material sent to our office, we are unable to confirm receipt. Rest assured that if we discover we are missing necessary materials or have any questions, we will be in contact with you (by email or phone) after the student is admitted. Current and admitted students can always check the status of their application on lms.simsswiss.ch

    You can apply directly to Student Recruitment at SIMS by handing in the filled-out Application Form along with other required documents.

    If you cannot apply in person to SIMS, you can send your application documents using a postal service.

    The deadline for submitting your application varies depending on the academic programme you are applying for.
